Starting the Herd
As the herd grows, so do the needs for care and equipment. Each horse requires grooming supplies, blankets, halters, leads, and more to ensure their well-being and comfort.
The cost to properly equip each new horse is approximately $600.
Supporting the Herd
This is where the real investment happens. The ongoing care of our horses is vital to their health and happiness. Each horse requires regular feed, hay, bedding for their stalls, and various supplements to keep them in top condition. Additionally, they need hoof care, fly repellant, and more to maintain their comfort and safety.
The monthly cost to care for each horse is approximately $700.
Emergency Funds
Even with the best care, accidents and illness can still occur. When emergencies arise, timely medical attention is essential. We are seeking funding for on-site first aid and medical supplies, as well as for a veterinary emergency fund to ensure we are prepared for any situation. This support gives us the ability to act quickly when the health of our horses is at risk.
