Why Equine Assisted Learning?
Equine Assisted Learning offers a unique, experiential approach to healing. Horses, with their intuitive nature, help individuals develop emotional resilience, rebuild trust, and navigate trauma in a safe, peaceful environment.
-
Horses respond to human emotions, helping participants identify and process their feelings in real-time.
-
Interacting with horses fosters mindfulness and helps participants become more aware of their internal states.
-
The bond participants develop with horses mirrors the relationships they can build in their everyday lives.
How Our Sessions Work
In each session, participants are paired with a horse and a mentor to guide them through exercises that focus on building trust, emotional awareness, and mindfulness. Sessions take place in a serene outdoor environment where participants can experience the peace and quiet necessary for healing.
No Horse Experience Required: You don’t need any previous experience with horses to participate.
Christ-Centered: Our approach is grounded in faith, offering a space for participants to connect spiritually as they heal emotionally.
